  • Managing club Fresh performance, identifying gaps, closing performance gaps, FDA/OSHA compliance, process improvements, and adjustments to meet financial goals
  • Enforcing Sam's Club Fresh standards for packaging, in-stock, sanitation, and substandard product removal

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity
  • Create budgets for sales, expenses, and wages; monitor club indexing and staffing
  • Work as part of the management team on opening/closing procedures, transitions, merchandising discussions, scheduling, associate issues, escalations, and special instructions
  • Plan production, labor, and execution for major events by reviewing/modifying plans based on holidays, events, weather, traffic, and business results
  • Oversee and enforce food safety standards, cold chain compliance, and merchandise quality; evaluate temperature/storage/sanitation; train associates
  • Drive sales and profit in Fresh areas through effective presentation, pricing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, trend assessment, financial reviews, and ordering/scheduling
  • Manage Fresh areas performance by reviewing sales/production/food safety, identifying/closing gaps, ensuring compliance, assisting training, implementing/monitoring improvements, and adjusting processes
  • Manage and enforce Sam's Club Fresh standards by evaluating products/packaging/in-stock, removing substandard items, training associates, and ensuring sanitation/food safety compliance
