Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and development for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognition, and promoting belonging
  • Recruit and develop associates to meet staffing needs and company growth
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities, support plans for customer/business needs, communicate goals, build accountability, and promote continuous learning
  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening, touring stores (Tour-to-Teach), collaborating on operations, and communicating business objectives
  • Model exceptional customer service, manage initiatives (e.g., store of the community), resolve issues, and implement action plans for improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, support mission/values/ethics, utilize Open Door Policy, and guide business processes
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L, managing budgets/expenses, monitoring merchandise/inventory/operations, and achieving sales/profit goals
  • Embrace differences, foster belonging, create opportunities for associates to thrive, and attract talent
  • Build team relationships, communicate positively to motivate, and strengthen teams through mentoring and recognition
