Responsibilities

  • Implements the business plan for assigned area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals
  • Identifies associate, customer, and supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective action or make recommendations to resolve concerns
  • Monitors and manages productivity of assigned area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports
  • Maintains quality and safety standards in assigned area by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitoring compliance; and distributing/maintaining procedures and supporting documentation
  • Supervises and develops associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation
  • Manages the maintenance and installation of systems, hardware, and software by overseeing installation of new/replacement/additional systems, ensuring repairs on existing systems, and tracking/ordering inventory and components
  • Manages troubleshooting of systems applications by working on problem resolution with Information Systems Division and vendors and supporting development of current/future systems
  • Provides and supports implementation of business solutions by building relationships with stakeholders, identifying needs, determining processes, monitoring progress, recognizing improvement opportunities, and adapting to changes
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures, supports company mission, values, and ethics by incorporating them into business plans and using the Open Door Policy
