We are looking for a highly-motivated Account Executive with experience building partnerships in the community college and technical school space. Your role will be to grow and maintain relationships with administrators and staff at these institutions, evangelize the 12twenty platform, and close new business to expand our impact across a broader educational landscape.

You’ll engage with decision-makers such as Career Center Directors, Program Administrators, and Deans. This role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of the unique needs of community colleges and technical schools, and a proven ability to align our solutions with their objectives. If you’re a self-starter with a record of exceeding quotas and working with these types of institutions, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably working with community colleges, technical schools, or career services in higher education
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
  • A hunter sales mentality with excellent prospecting skills
  • A self-starter who can manage their own pipeline while being a strong team player
  • Dedication to professionalism and excellence in all client interactions

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Career Center administrators and other key stakeholders at community colleges and technical schools, demonstrating how 12twenty can be a valuable resource for their students and staff.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person platform demonstrations tailored to the needs of community colleges and technical school administrators.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by generating scalable revenue.
  • Create and negotiate sales proposals and contracts, ensuring they meet the specific needs of community colleges and technical schools.
  • Collaborate with the Implementation, Customer Success, and Product Teams to gather feedback and influence product features that align with the needs of these institutions.
