Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED/equivalent
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Problem solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in office and warehouse environments, including cooler and freezer areas (temperatures as low as -5 degrees)
  • Physical ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, lift/carry 1-100 lbs, push/pull, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, grasp/manipulate objects, and perform manual dexterity; frequently bend, reach above shoulder, and twist

Responsibilities

  • Use Truck Builder software to layout and assemble each trailer
  • Analyze output to ensure loads maximize safety and efficiency for loading/unloading
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper supply of necessary materials; order supplies as needed
  • Respond to driver concerns regarding loads and adjust as necessary to maximize efficiency
  • Assist in loading trailers as needed to meet daily production goals
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
