Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with detail-oriented office work, competence with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook is required, and a willingness to self-learn additional programs and technical skills.
The Transportation Coordinator will quote, book, and track inbound POs, update shipment status in Netsuite, communicate delays or short shipments with the supply chain team, and troubleshoot any delays or missed pickups. They will also audit and approve inbound transportation invoices, file and track claims for damages on inbound POs, coordinate with customer service to resolve small issues and escalate larger issues, enter and track shipments in the Emerson temp tracker portal, create parcel labels in Shipstation, assist the team with BOL creation, outbound scheduling, and parcel network monitoring when needed, rotate on-call with the other two members of the transportation team, and continually integrate AI processes into their workflow to simplify IT and focus on meaningful work. Additionally, they will act as liaison to the customer service team to troubleshoot delivery problems and alert customers of delays.
