Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
Legal authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship for employment visas)
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel locally 50% of the time to customers
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience (preferred)
Knowledge of Rockwell's various Controller & I/O Hardware Platforms, Network Hardware & Topologies, Server Infrastructure, and Rockwell Software Portfolio (FactoryTalk View SE, FT AssetCentre, FT Historian, ThinManager, PlantPAx, FT Batch, FT Opitx) (preferred)
Familiarity with outcome-based selling (preferred)
Knowledge of industry strategies (preferred)
Demonstrated technical expertise in automation design and control (preferred)

Responsibilities

Partner with the sales team in promoting the product range to existing and new customers; update customers on new products and technology, as related to their industry and application
Participate in trade shows, seminars and similar marketing activities; offer demonstrations to customers
Support market access (distributors and system integrators) in conveying the value of our products and technology; support the launch of new products to the sales teams and channel
Validate and resolve product compatibility issues within architectural solutions and provide guidance to customers
Use domain expertise as a resource for internal partners and to advise customers on our products, solutions and services
Analyze competitive products, have knowledge of competitor's strategies, and further define competitive differentiators
Understand business models, organization and go to market strategy, and leverage where appropriate
Build customer relationships and provide customer-centric solutions
Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with goals
Seek out opportunities to develop technical skills
Gain the trust of others through integrity and authenticity
Relate openly with diverse groups of people
Achieve results, even under tough circumstances
Build partnerships and work with others to meet shared goals
Maneuver through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics
