Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years’ experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred with reduced years of experience)
Molding experience preferred, but not required
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow written instructions
Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing special garments and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and related manufacturing processes
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills to lead a work team effectively and efficiently in a team environment
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Availability for overtime as required

Responsibilities

Perform basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
Troubleshoot machine issues and respond to process alarms
Perform routine, preventative maintenance requirements
Provide oversight of employees on shift, including employee role assignment
Own/drive shift tier meetings, including all plantwide communications specific to department (e.g., safety protocols)
Responsible for setup of machinery prior to production and ensuring efficiency throughout shift
Initiate and drive process improvement projects for the department
Train and develop team members
Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines, ensuring accuracy
Operate, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment while adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and related regulations
Act as leader of the department for designated shift, prioritizing workload and managing personnel resources
Problem solve in production processes and other functional areas
