Requirements

Enhanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities for handling complex technical tasks
Ability to make minor decisions within task scope
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), GxP regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Data Integrity (ALCOA: attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original, accurate)
Capability to work in a cleanroom environment
Ability to perform physical activities repeatedly, including pushing rolling carts weighing 300KG and inspecting lenses
Teamwork with cross-functional members to achieve production targets in compliance with GMP, quality, and safety requirements
Commitment to regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, quality control, and completing required training

Responsibilities

Handle complex technical tasks to support operations and enhance efficiency within defined procedures
Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment, including simple machine setups (e.g., ink change)
Operate manufacturing equipment to produce and/or package contact lenses
Operate autoclave to sterilize contact lenses
Manage resources and schedules to meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
Monitor output quality, perform IPC (in-process checks) such as Visual Lens Inspection and Operator Packaging check, identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
Ensure contact lenses are manufactured to the best quality level possible and maintain quality standards
Maintain accurate daily production records for manufacturing performance analysis and ensure Data Integrity
Review work orders, schedule resources (e.g., schedule sterilization within 12 hrs), and monitor manufacturing operations to align with business objectives
Perform all production activities at various stages under cleanroom environment to achieve daily targets and highest product quality
Meet yield, equipment performance, and uptime targets for assigned LTs
Support maintenance activities and troubleshoot machine issues
Maintain 5S in the production floor
Participate in Kaizen projects for continuous improvement in manufacturing performance
Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training
