Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas (3rd shift: 9:00PM-5:30AM, Tuesday to Saturday)
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions
  • Reads, interprets, and uses drawings, electrical and control circuit diagrams, equipment, and schematic manuals as references when performing control, mechanical, and electrical works
  • Maintains machines and manufacturing equipment in excellent conditions; inspects their mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic components to detect or verify proper operation
  • Assembles and installs equipment and machinery using hand precision tools
  • Maintains communication and coordination with Manufacturing resources, Quality and Engineering Department
  • Other duties may be assigned
