Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field, and at least one year of experience in technical writing. They must be able to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into easily understandable text and visuals, demonstrating comfort working independently and as part of a team. A high emotional quotient and the ability to connect with others are also desired.
The Technical Writer will maintain a deep understanding of Entrata’s products and services, writing user-friendly “user guides” to support client learning. They will partner with Product, Development, UX, and Training departments to document software workflows accurately and succinctly, leading meetings with product managers, providing status updates, and driving accountability. The role also involves adhering to a strict content audit schedule and new release schedule, coordinating work with the Content Team, assisting with the overall help center strategy, and performing peer reviews for quality and adherence to style guides.
