Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in technical writing or a similar role, potentially including internships. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Familiarity with SaaS products, general software development terminology, and documentation tools like Google Docs, Confluence, or similar is required. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and experience with content management systems, version control (Git), or help authoring tools are also beneficial. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Writer, you will write, edit, and maintain user-facing documentation, including user guides, how-tos, FAQs, and release notes. You will develop concise in-app help and tooltips, collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information, ensure content consistency, organize and structure content for easy navigation, and participate in product testing and documentation reviews. Additionally, you will update and revise content based on product changes and user feedback, and contribute to the overall enhancement of the product user experience.
