Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise customers with a confident, calm approach
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Top-tier customer experience skills with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in a cross-functional environment supporting teams across Engineering, Customer Success, and more
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as CI/CD, Linux, GitHub, Helm Charts, Terraform, and Open source
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS EKS experience is a plus)
  • Experience with security frameworks, software supply chain security, or vulnerability scanning (extra kudos)
  • KCNA or CKA certification (extra kudos)
  • Startup experience (extra kudos)
  • Ability to learn quickly and navigate fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

  • Triage, investigate, reproduce, manage, and resolve complex customer issues involving Chainguard Images
  • Escalate issues to the Engineering team when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with customers to keep them informed and happy
  • Bridge the technical divide by explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical customers
  • Document new issues and create Knowledge Base articles
  • Prioritize and manage a queue of issues to resolution
  • Proactively guide issues to resolution and communicate with customers
  • Push bugs, feature requests, and issues to the Engineering and GTM teams
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier customer experiences
