Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a relevant field
  • Fluency in both English and the local language
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong general computer skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicts professionally
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of confidentiality and task completion
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal abilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Willingness to travel 60%

Responsibilities

  • Fault detection and repair of company products
  • Undertake the service and repair of company products to the required standards
  • Test company products and provide fully complete test and service reports
  • Perform upgrades on company devices as required
  • Conduct periodic maintenance visits and perform calibrations on company devices as required
  • Inform supervisor about critical levels of spare parts inventory to fulfill warranty downtime obligations
  • Establish relations with key stakeholders affecting the decision to purchase Customer Support products and services, as well as with existing/potential customers to improve and maintain continuity of such relations
  • Support service partners/dealers and team members in troubleshooting company products
  • Ensure all relevant repair/service information is entered into the database (or its replacement)
  • Report and handle any customer complaints received by the service department within company quality system guidelines
