Requirements

  • 3+ years of field service or industrial maintenance experience, with a strong focus on PLC troubleshooting and automation systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and control drawings
  • Hands-on experience with PLC brands such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi
  • Familiarity with HMI interfaces, VFDs, sensors, actuators, and other automation components
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, often on short notice
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, start-up, and commissioning of automation equipment at client locations
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and control issues involving PLCs and automation systems
  • Program and modify PLC logic (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and provide technical support to ensure peak system performance
  • Document service visits, issues resolved, parts used, and recommendations for system improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on proper operation and maintenance
  • Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety protocols
