Requirements

  • BA/BS or MS degree in Life Sciences, PhD preferred
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in clinical/life science with consistent achievement of sales goals
  • Extensive experience and consistent track record in Clinical/Life Sciences Sales
  • Strong technical competence in next generation sequencing and advanced molecular technologies in the clinical oncology testing market
  • Deep technical credibility to consult customers and prospects on technology and product choices
  • Strong business insight to translate account strategy into business results
  • Scientific Consulting Competence: Technical ability to collaborate with customers on testing needs, improve technology utilization, and promote advances in protocols, assays, and capabilities
  • Business Insight: Detailed territory planning, market understanding, accurate forecasting, leading KOL and clinician relationships
  • Instrument Sales Competence: Developing short- and long-term instrument pipeline in CRM, positioning solutions for performance, workflow, and budget
  • Collaboration: Successful experience working in a team environment with Sales teams in Taiwan
  • Diagnostic/Regulatory knowledge: Understanding of molecular diagnostic regulatory environment for IDTs, IVD, and CDx assays; monitoring market trends

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned territory sales plan to boost instrument sales and assay demand
  • Develops and manages a business plan to meet or exceed business goals agreed upon with commercial management
  • Identify new business opportunities and work with business partners to develop sales potential
  • Customer Relationship Management and Development: Develop and nurture Key Opinion Leaders across territory to grow and promote the business
  • Effectively compete to win projects vs. competitors
  • Manage clinical lab assay utilization; drive additional assay utilization across accounts, target new customers, and convert business by identifying applications, assays, and protocols
  • Support clinical trials, laboratory-developed tests and services, and assay registration initiatives
  • Deliver technical presentations to oncologists, pathologists, and clinical laboratory stakeholders in Taiwan
  • Respond to enquiries and complaints to reinforce the company’s position
  • Maintain accurate, detailed customer records in the CRM
