Requirements

  • 4 years or above of hands-on work experiences with CHO cell culture
  • M.S. degree or above in biotechnology or life sciences
  • Strong evidence of ability to implement and execute plans
  • Outstanding problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive work ethics; able to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision
  • Frequent travel required
  • English (oral and written fluency)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support in Bio-production Process projects, particularly Mabs production mainly for key industrial accounts
  • Assist commercial team in identifying customer opportunities, needs, and determining technical feasibility of custom requests
  • Provide troubleshooting on issues related to end-user’s technical skills, experiment design, or unexpected results
  • Act as liaison between China team and headquarters of the business unit and production site in US
  • Provide training to internal staff and seminars to external customers to increase awareness of the cell culture product line
  • Assist with translations of technical material into Chinese
  • Other duties as required
