Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Sales
  • Extensive working experience as an Account Sales and/or Engineer with in-depth technical knowledge in Drill Bits
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Developing sales strategies to scope, plan and successfully deliver winning proposals for existing and/or key account(s)
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships in a market where trust and partnership are critical
  • Creating detailed and application specific technical Drill Bit proposals
  • Participating in tenders, pricing, and commercial negotiations to secure new business
  • Tracking and managing opportunities using CRM for accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Collaborating with supply chain, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Visiting customers and travel as required to maintain engagement and identify opportunities
