Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in a high-tech environment with a cross-functional and global team managing new and sustaining product development
  • Deep experience in sustaining and improving high-volume consumer electronics products
  • Good knowledge of project management standards and methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across disciplines
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with cross functions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and activities at the same time
  • Independent and critical thinking with analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Strong knowledge in tools - from Project Management (Schedule, Tasks, Risks, etc.) to parts management (creation, Bill of Materials)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) development through the product life cycle process from concept to product delivery - apply project management standards
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to deliver projects on time within defined expectations in terms of experience, cost and quality
  • Lead and staff a project team - multi-functions and multi-sites (worldwide)
  • Work with a cross functional team to develop, sustain, continuously improve and cost reduce the C&P portfolio
  • Collaborate with our sourcing team to identify and manage components end of life, second source needs or potential cost reduction
  • Facilitate communication between operation, marketing and design team to rapidly prioritize, scope and deliver multiple projects
  • Report on a regular basis the project status to the key stakeholders and escalate when projects are at risk
  • Participate in troubleshooting, problem-solving, failure analysis, root cause, and corrective action processes as required
  • Manage product Build of Material (BOM) and key project / product documentation
