Requirements

  • Experience leading data onboarding engagements and managing high-quality onboarding and data integration projects for multiple partners concurrently
  • Ability to track and manage project tasks, deliverables, and risks, including tracking engineering work in Azure DevOps (ADO) and reporting on status in internal and partner-facing forums
  • Knowledge of ensuring data transfer architecture is set up securely and correctly
  • Skills in completing gap analyses against data models (e.g., Truveta Data Model), sample validation, production profiling, and remediation with partner data teams
  • Proficiency using internal tooling and profiling outputs to make decisions and escalate appropriately
  • Capability to develop strong relationships with health system members and third-party data partners, build trust, translate requirements into tasks, and influence partners on data expansion and issue remediation
  • Experience owning operational tooling, playbooks, and programs for reliable and scalable data supply, including prioritizing product improvements, reducing manual toil, and leading initiatives like data quality automation and scalable onboarding for special data (e.g., medical imaging, genomics)
  • Strong communication skills as the primary point of contact for operational data incidents, including triaging issues (e.g., missing/corrupt files, schema issues), coordinating cross-functional responses, and keeping stakeholders informed
  • Problem-solving mindset, passion for collaboration, willingness to handle technical troubleshooting, program leadership, and product-oriented operational improvements
  • Comfort with hybrid/remote work model, including one week in-person annually, Pacific Time zone meeting optimization, and ad hoc meetings 8am-6pm PT

Responsibilities

  • Lead data onboarding engagements: Manage high-quality onboarding and data integration projects for multiple partner health system members concurrently, track and manage project tasks, deliverables, and risks
  • Track engineering work in Azure DevOps (ADO) and report on status in internal and partner-facing forums
  • Ensure data transfer architecture is set up securely and correctly
  • Complete gap analyses against the Truveta Data Model, sample validation, production profiling, and remediation with partner data teams
  • Use internal tooling and profiling outputs to make decisions and escalate appropriately
  • Serve as the external-facing technical partner: Develop strong relationships with health system members and third-party data partners, influence responses to data requests, foster interest in product offerings, translate requirements into member tasks, and drive data expansion projects and issue remediation
  • Own operations and continuous improvement: Manage operational tooling, playbooks, and programs for reliable and scalable data supply; prioritize and shepherd product improvements; reduce manual toil; lead initiatives like data quality automation and scalable onboarding for special data (e.g., medical imaging, genomics)
  • Provide communication and visibility: Act as primary point of contact for operational data incidents, triage missing/corrupt files and schema issues, coordinate cross-functional responses, and keep members and internal stakeholders informed
