  • Previous experience gained within a similar role
  • Mechanically minded with working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A confident and forward thinking team player
  • Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and problem solving
  • Physical role moving around a large factory, lifting up to 20kg
  • Ideally Food Safety level 1

Responsibilities

  • Basic proactive maintenance of equipment
  • Carry out minor repairs on machinery
  • Operate machinery as part of the production team
  • Complete daily safety start up checks
  • Respond to first instance blockages and stoppages
  • Regular cleaning of equipment
  • Liaise with the Engineering department on matters associated with the equipment
  • Support the production team on clear down days to clean the picking loops and/or repack area
