Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent experience, along with 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including 3+ years in senior roles and at least 1 year as a Technical Lead, and 1+ years of experience working on SaaS products using PHP. Proficiency in PHP, Bash, or Python scripting, JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker & Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure (IaaS), TDD, Agile, and Scrum practices are required. Strong problem-solving skills and architectural thinking with a practical, product-first mindset, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Technical Lead will be responsible for designing and developing new features, being involved in regular upgrades of the tech stack, ensuring the reliability and performance of systems, and taking ownership of the release backlog and delivering stable, on-time releases with zero S0 bugs. They will also mentor and guide engineers through feedback, pairing, and lifelong learning, fostering a culture of kaizen—continuous improvement, accountability, and open collaboration, and partnering with cross-functional teams across time zones to align on technical direction. Additionally, they will drive the technical direction of projects and help shape the future of the engineering practices, as well as contribute to the overall technical strategy and architecture.
