Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tax accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior management role. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations is required, along with experience in tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research.
The Tax Senior Manager will direct the completion of Federal and State tax reporting requirements, monitor and analyze tax regulatory and compliance developments, prepare and review supporting work papers for tax returns, drive improvements to the company’s overall tax position, establish and drive tax initiatives, research and prepare responses to state notices, assist with monthly financial reporting, manage processes related to cash and investments, and play a key role in public company readiness including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
