Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years’ experience
Proven success with high-touch, high-volume recruitment from entry level to VP executive level placements
Experience recruiting Life Science candidates in either an in-house or agency setting
Proven ability to work in a startup environment
Strong team interaction and communication

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of open requisitions with evolving prioritization; partner with Finance and the CHRO to ensure accurate approval, tracking, and levelling of roles
Full life cycle recruiting efforts for roles and functions across our multiple locations as well as in the field
Design strategies to identify and attract talent; fully leverage Lyell culture, benefit programs, and development opportunities in materials and communications
Create and deliver honest and motivating messaging to help candidates understand the specific role as well as the mission and science at Lyell; inspire and engage candidates throughout the process
Curate collaborative relationships with hiring managers through routine updates and comprehensive engagement meetings at the start of each search
Partner with colleagues and external firms to create great candidate experience; oversee scheduling activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness in the process
Create job offers that align with Lyell’s Compensation Philosophy; together with Compensation and CHRO input, design packages that are competitive in the market and aligned with internal equity
Collaborate with HR partners to optimize systems, processes, and practices for Talent Acquisition; contribute to ongoing HR goals and initiatives outside of TA as a key stakeholder and subject matter expert
Network and research across the Biotech industry to understand trends, identify talent, and recommend opportunities for Lyell recruitment activity
