Requirements

Candidates must possess US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, with potential for CI Poly acquisition. A technical degree or equivalent demonstrated experience is required, along with over 4 years of technical experience in maintaining automated system platforms for the intelligence community, geospatial context, or big data analytics. Experience with CI/CD development using Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and/or Docker is necessary, as is experience with open source and custom application deployments and maintenance. Demonstrated experience with LINUX and database system administration and Python scripting is required. Candidates must be capable of working effectively with a geographically distributed team and communicate effectively in written and oral forums. Willingness to work onsite 80% or as needs dictate is also required. CompTIA Security+ or a comparable certification for privileged user access is desired.

Responsibilities

The System Administrator will monitor secure side systems operations to develop and implement solutions, and improve system operations, functionality, monitoring, and platform optimization. They will track and remediate IAVM vulnerabilities, implement STIG guidance, and support ATO sustainment efforts such as patching. The role involves working with software and system engineers to apply automated test and documentation processes, troubleshooting and resolving network, automation pipeline, and infrastructure issues, and integrating static code analysis and other security mechanisms into pipelines. Communication with multidisciplinary teams and articulation of technical concepts and ideas effectively are key responsibilities.
