Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership roles, with at least 7 years in senior/global leadership
  • Proven track record of driving growth in the travel ecosystem (airlines, OTAs, TMCs, hotel groups, mobility platforms) with strong existing networks
  • Deep understanding of payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure solutions and their application in the travel industry
  • Experience scaling revenues at a fast-growth scale-up or high-growth business unit within a multinational
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders and influence across geographies
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global go-to-market and business development strategy for the travel vertical (Growth Strategy)
  • Deliver sustained revenue growth by acquiring, expanding, and retaining key global travel clients (Revenue Leadership)
  • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across geographies and sub-segments of the travel industry (Market Expansion)
  • Build senior-level relationships with airlines, OTAs, TMCs, hotel groups, and other key stakeholders to drive adoption of Nium’s solutions (Strategic Partnerships)
  • Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing global business development team; coach regional leaders to deliver against targets (Team Leadership)
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, Risk, and Operations to ensure Nium’s solutions meet the evolving needs of the travel industry (Cross-Functional Influence)
  • Represent Nium externally at industry forums, events, and with the press to elevate Nium’s profile as the global payments leader in travel (Thought Leadership)
  • Develop scalable playbooks, pricing strategies, and partner models to accelerate growth and ensure repeatable success (Commercial Excellence)
