Requirements
Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university
Major in Human Resources, Digital Communications, Marketing, or Design preferred
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Aptitude for collecting data points and reasoning to find commonalities and outliers
Strong presence and project management skills, with ability to balance multiple deliverables simultaneously
Experience writing for digital channels (e.g., blog, professional social media, website) preferred
Web or Graphic Design background preferred
Experience designing and managing a blog or website using a content management system (e.g., WordPress, SharePoint) preferred
Good analytical, communication, and human relations skills
Adaptable and flexible
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong Microsoft Office skills preferred, especially in MS Excel (data, chart creation)
Previous internship or co-op experience preferred
Responsibilities
Support daily operations of Ameren’s Sustainability, Community and Inclusion (SCI) team
Divide time approximately 1/3 with each department (Sustainability, Community, Inclusion) per week or on a rotational basis
Conduct Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) benchmarking/research
Provide ESG voluntary reporting support
Support Energy Affordability initiatives
Upgrade and maintain inclusive engagement team webpage and SharePoint site
Assist with implementing inclusive engagement employee and community outreach efforts
Collaborate on equity projects
Collect and distill post-grant and post-sponsorship data
Collate information to inform graphs, editorial, and stronger nonprofit partner relationships
Support corporate campaigns like United Way or other co-worker-involved fundraising activities
Work on-site at Ameren HQ, interface with external stakeholders and co-workers onsite, over TEAMS virtually, and in possible off-site meetings
