Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and available for a full-time 3-6 month internship. Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like Tensorflow, TF-Serving, JAX, and XLA/MLIR is required, along with experience in large-scale distributed training strategies and familiarity with autoregressive sequence models such as Transformers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for applied NLP models and products are essential. Bonus qualifications include experience writing GPU kernels with CUDA, training on TPUs, and publications at top-tier AI venues.

Responsibilities

The Machine Learning Intern will design, train, and improve cutting-edge models, and develop new techniques for safer, better, and faster model training and serving. Responsibilities include training extremely large-scale models on massive datasets, exploring continual and active learning strategies for streaming data, and learning from senior machine learning staff. The intern will also work closely with product teams to develop solutions and contribute to the mission of scaling intelligence.
