The pay range is $25.50 - $38.25 per hour, with the actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
This is a part-time position with scheduled 6 day shifts per 2 week pay period, primarily days but with possible weekends/evenings/holidays. It includes a 1 in 4 call rotation with 1 week night/week, every 4th weekend and holiday, and specific response times of 45 minutes for emergent trauma or 20 minutes for OB active labor.
Key responsibilities include assisting the surgeon by passing instruments, performing accurate sponge/instrument/needle counts, maintaining sterile technique, preparing the sterile table, handling tissue specimens, and cleaning/sterilizing instruments and the operating room.
