Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (16 years) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain or relevant function; multinational corporate experience preferred
  • Proven track record of effectively managing and improving supply chain teams and processes in a large multinational corporate producing consumer goods or other FMCG products
  • Proficiency to manage project, 3PL and business process improvement
  • Possess strong leadership, willing to do attitude
  • Proficient people management skills, with strong interpersonal skill to develop and nurture relationships across different functions
  • Strong communication, organizing, analytical, negotiation skills, numerical sense and problem solving skills and sophisticated in presenting the findings
  • Hands-on experience in ERPs

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and control all supply and logistics policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the supply chain function, including purchasing, third-party relationship management, planning, logistics, warehouse & inventory management, customer service, importation and exportation as well as transportation and distribution
  • Identify and drive cost savings opportunities and continuous performance improvement to develop a highly efficient and cost effective platform while ensuring product availability for internal and external customers
  • Assure Supply efficiently, including planning, purchasing, inventory management and financial Plan/LBE reporting, freight & logistics, supplier selection and relationship management, transport and distribution, and third-party (3PL) warehouse management
  • Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain
  • Develop reports, implement effective processes, and track performance metrics to meet financial commitments and prevent supply interruption
  • Initiate projects to improve supply chain processes, improve supply chain efficiency, and reduce supply chain cost
  • Effectively balance inventory levels at 3PL, minimizing excess/obsolete inventory and cash flow impact while ensuring product availability (on time and in full) and minimal backorders
  • Oversee inventory control systems that track the status of purchase orders and inventory levels
  • Deliver continuous improvements across the logistics network, align logistics metrics with KPIs, optimize global networks/routes, and ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations
  • Manage strategic logistics partnerships, including inbound and outbound distribution, warehousing expenses and budget control; plan and execute RFP, RFQ, and bid processes for logistics services
  • Continually review current 3PL’s and possible future providers; develop and maintain strong and effective partnerships
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable business policies, laws and regulations, company policies, operating procedures, and processes
  • Effectively engage cross-functional team, including Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, Global Service and Support, third-parties, and all related teams to drive business objectives and ensure supply activities are integrated seamlessly
  • Foster a collaborative working environment to attract and retain key talent
  • Coach, develop and motivate staff to achieve top performance. Support employees in implementing development plans. Identify and develop succession plan and address staffing issues in a proactive manner
