Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time

Responsibilities

Responsible for a specific project in the areas of commodity management, supplier quality, or supply chain analytics
Participate in RFQ process, supplier evaluation process, selection process, negotiation process, working supplier issues, and supplier maintenance
Comply with purchasing policies/procedures, as well as legal/ethical obligations
Assist in documenting and creating processes and standard work in the supply chain/sourcing functions
Support commodity manager(s) in their daily work
Assist in negotiation preparation
Identify and implement cost savings opportunities through spend analysis, supplier negotiations, business resourcing, value added and value engineering opportunities, and other purchasing methods
Support manufacturing operations and quality department with supplier issue resolution
Administrate Blanket Orders, Purchase Orders and Vendor Master Information in the ERP system
Analyze complex data, identify and execute savings opportunities, implement sourcing strategies, and quickly execute tasks to realize benefits
Complete an agreed upon project (related to Supply Chain), culminating in a formal report out to sr. leadership
