The Cloud Sales Specialist Team is responsible for growing, positioning, selling, and maintaining CrowdStrike's cloud security business across all geographic sales theaters. Cloud Sales Managers will collaborate with regional sales, sales engineering, marketing, product development, and services organizations to execute cloud security sales playbooks. They will directly engage customers regarding CrowdStrike's cloud security capabilities and assist customers in operationalizing and consuming these products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive CrowdStrike’s strategic initiative to secure modern workloads.
  • Establish partnerships with core sellers and position CrowdStrike’s cloud security offerings to key personas, including security, DevOps, and cloud security professionals.
  • Collaborate with customers on integrating CrowdStrike cloud security products into their operational workflows during technical evaluations and post-sales engagements.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute outreach campaigns that generate cloud security product sales pipeline and increase customer awareness.
  • Provide ad hoc collaboration with field and cloud service provider sales teams to help close significant deals.
  • Train internal teams to enhance their positioning of cloud security products.
  • Provide customer feedback to Product Management teams regarding new and existing features/capabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CrowdStrike's cloud security product roadmaps, the market landscape for cloud adoption, and obtain certifications in cloud computing platforms.
  • May require modified work hours to accommodate accounts in other time zones.
  • Travel up to 50%.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology sales, specifically with cloud security or cloud computing products or services.
  • Proven experience communicating with and advising C-suite executives, senior management, DevOps teams, and cloud architect-level customers/clients.
  • Demonstrated success selling cloud computing services at the C-suite and senior management levels.
  • Experience navigating procurement, contracts, and sales processes with cloud buying personas, particularly for consumption-based billing models.
  • Operational excellence in managing sales pipelines and engaging with internal and external corporate sales teams.
  • Experience and comfort presenting cloud computing concepts to large audiences, both virtually and in person.
  • Cloud practitioner certifications are preferred.
