Exceptional academic record (preferably in a quantitative discipline such as business, mathematics, finance, engineering, economics, or computer science)
Strong quantitative ability and analytical approach to problem-solving, able to distinguish between strong and weak lines of reasoning
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented with a passion for understanding and solving the nuances of a problem
Interest in developing expertise in the insurance market
Strong desire to build a career in venture capital and investing
Prior experience in banking, consulting, or investing preferred, but not required (for MBA candidates)

Responsibilities
Interact with startup founders
Perform due diligence for investments, including industry research and financial analysis
Work on ad hoc firm projects with a senior level manager
Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture, and structure to support work initiatives
Support and plan work on small projects with direction from management
Assume duties normally performed in the department alongside professionals
Present project results to management and/or department personnel
Perform analytical work within the assigned functional area
Open to and support new ideas, systems, and procedures; generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations
