Requirements

  • Proven work experience in the Resources industry (Chemicals, Natural Resources, and Energy) and customer functions in B2B organizations
  • 5+ years experience in the Resources space with a robust understanding of the Resources customer engagement models, including market trends and challenges
  • 2+ years experience in consulting, strategy, or equivalent role
  • 2+ years experience leading multi-discipline teams
  • Strategic problem solver with extensive consulting and industry experience
  • Clear and effective communicator with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, including compelling storytelling for executive audiences
  • Ability to perform well in an agile, fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to balance leadership with team contributions
  • High energy, drive, personal resilience, passion for serving clients, and love of continual learning
  • Strong critical thinker able to understand client challenges and define strategies/solutions
  • Understanding of trends in Resources, digital, commerce, sales, and Generative AI

Responsibilities

  • Apply industry expertise working directly with clients to bring strategic thinking to challenges in digital, commerce, and sales
  • Understand client needs, develop new strategies, and deliver high impact solutions that deliver value
  • Provide thought leadership on trends in digital transformation and customer commercial operations within Resources sectors, positioning Accenture as a trusted advisor
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and manage project delivery teams, ensuring successful implementation meeting timeline, budget, and quality expectations
  • Lead value analysis to generate insights and identify value creation opportunities across digital capability areas
  • Partner with Resources clients (e.g., Chief Customer Officers, Business Strategy leads, Customer Operations leaders) to make bold decisions intersecting business, digital technology, and operations
  • Grow expertise and coach junior team members to maintain Accenture's thought-leadership position
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for further growth and value creation in existing and new engagements
  • Support profitability of client engagements and identify opportunities for extension, cross-sell, or up-sell
