Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in media, advertising, marketing, or sales support
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable interacting with senior executives and clients
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), PowerPoint/Keynote, and Excel
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint is a must
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a bias toward action
  • Comfortable in high-expectation, performance-driven environments
  • Must be based in New York

Responsibilities

  • Act as the right hand to the Chief Sales Officer, supporting day-to-day priorities and long-term business development goals
  • Liaise on deliverables for select key accounts — ensuring campaigns, partnerships, and sponsorships run smoothly
  • Work with various teams to assist with attendee acquisition for business dinners, leadership events, and client experiences, ensuring each guest list aligns with strategic business objectives
  • Prepare and refine pitch materials, client recaps, and sales decks for high-level presentations
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, maintain calendar and communications, and ensure all prep materials are ready in advance
  • Track and update CRM data, pipeline activity, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams — marketing, events, editorial, and production — to ensure client commitments are fulfilled
  • Assist with on-site client engagement at major industry events, sponsorships, and networking functions
  • Research new business opportunities and help identify emerging advertising categories or partnership prospects
  • Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems to maximize efficiency for the Chief Sales Officer
