Requirements

  • Ability to access C-level executives involving Wind River Executive Sponsors
  • Organizational acumen to understand customer’s power-map, internal and external influencers
  • Customer acumen to understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy, and competitive landscape
  • Ability to review and analyze public information (e.g., new executive appointments, earnings statements, press releases) for the company and competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, sell, and close new business with net-new automotive customers in North America
  • Bring a “Point of View” to customer engagement
  • Use all resources to solve customer problems with appropriate Wind River products and services
  • Increase revenue of all Wind River solutions through software licenses and customer success engagement/retention activities (e.g., consulting, enablement services, education services)
  • Achieve/exceed annual revenue quota targets
  • Develop effective and specific account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth
  • Develop relationships in new and existing customers and leverage them to drive strategy through the organization
  • Establish strong management and C-level relationships as a trusted advisor based on knowledge of customer requirements and commitment to value
  • Build a foundation to harvest future business opportunities and provide accurate account information and coaching
