  • Ability to perform all prescription pick-up procedures, including completing Prescription Pick-Up Log, validating customer address, making the Offer to Counsel, and directing customer to Pharmacist or Intern (if applicable), in adherence to CVS policy and procedures

  • Ability to retrieve and file prescriptions appropriately according to State and Federal Law

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Pharmacy and Front Store Team to ensure each customer has a positive shopping experience and customer satisfaction by serving each customer according to company Values
  • Perform customer service tasks: greet customers courteously, assist with questions and concerns, request help as needed, maintain confidentiality, answer telephone
  • Comply with all federal/state laws, CVS policies/procedures, and workflow standards; maintain quality assurance
  • Process prescriptions (translate SIG codes, select products, count/measure drugs, cap/uncap vials/bottles, label)
  • Resolve Third Party rejections and complete manual claim forms
  • Perform register transactions (cash, check, charge), bag merchandise
  • Perform prescription pick-up procedures: complete log, validate address, offer to counsel, direct to Pharmacist/Intern
