Ability to assist all pharmacy and front store customers with their questions and concerns

Ability to adhere to CVS workflow and ensure quality assurance standards are maintained at all times
Ability to maintain prescription prioritization throughout prescription processing
Ability to process prescriptions, including translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting and measuring drugs, capping and uncapping vials and bottles, and labeling of prescriptions
Ability to resolve Third Party rejections and complete any manual claim forms
Ability to perform all register transactions, including cash, check and charge transactions, in adherence to CVS policy and procedures
Ability to bag merchandise upon completion of sale
Ability to perform all prescription pick-up procedures, including completing Prescription Pick-Up Log, validating customer address, making the Offer to Counsel, and directing customer to Pharmacist or Intern (if applicable), in adherence to CVS policy and procedures
Ability to communicate with all healthcare professionals when permissible and according to state law
Ability to retrieve and file prescriptions appropriately according to State and Federal Law
Ability to participate in all required store operational meetings
Ability to maintain a clean, organized and professional pharmacy department, according to CVS standards
Ability to access, input and retrieve information to/from the computer
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to assist front store operations when needed
Ability to maintain in-stock by ensuring all inventory management policies and procedures are followed
Ability to utilize appropriate report(s) to maintain replenishment
Ability to pull outdated, damaged and recalled merchandise and prepare for return
Ability to assist with putting away drug orders (except CIIs) as permitted by law
Ability to operate a cash register including cash transactions, checks, charges
Ability to follow company policies and procedures regarding cash register performance
Ability to request additional help when needed to increase (customer satisfaction)

Responsibilities

Work as part of the Pharmacy and Front Store Team to ensure each customer has a positive shopping experience and customer satisfaction by serving each customer according to company Values
Perform customer service tasks: greet customers courteously, assist with questions/concerns, request help as needed, maintain confidentiality, answer telephone
Comply with all federal/state laws, CVS policies/procedures, workflows, and quality assurance standards
Maintain prescription prioritization and process prescriptions (translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting/measuring drugs, capping/uncapping vials/bottles, labeling)
Resolve Third Party rejections and complete manual claim forms
Perform all register transactions (cash, check, charge), bag merchandise
