Requirements

  • Knowledge of ITIL standards and operational policies/processes
  • Ability to provide Operate, Admin, and Consulting support
  • Experience in IT infrastructure lifecycle management (planning, project management, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, de-installation)
  • Skills in incident management, escalation management, problem management, and change management/implementation
  • Proficiency in resolving issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions, reproducing issues, and providing timely follow-ups
  • Ability to leverage internal resources (peers, mentors, knowledge base, forums) and collaborate with teams
  • Capability to perform trend/root cause analysis, risk/impact analysis, prepare/review/implement/rollback/test plans
  • Experience managing technical/service relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model (average 2 days/week in HPE office)

Responsibilities

  • Provide Operate, Admin, and Consulting support on Storage infrastructure and Operating systems per contract terms and technical standards
  • Offer technical input, solutions, and recommendations for deal pursuits
  • Support transition/transformation efforts
  • Provide IT/application infrastructure lifecycle technical support, including planning, project management, installation, ongoing management/monitoring/troubleshooting, and de-installation
  • Manage technical/service relationships with customers, subcontractors/vendors, and key stakeholders (Infrastructure Support Managers, Client Manager, Account Delivery Manager)
  • Resolve customer issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions; reproduce issues in-house and respond timely
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers, providing recommendations, updates, and action plans
  • Identify and escalate issues to vendors per Standard Operating Procedures
  • Leverage internal technical expertise and collaborate with CoE/HW teams for complex issue diagnosis
  • Provide consulting support in area of expertise; maintain quality on case documentation, SLA timeframes, and operational metrics
  • Perform within team Productivity Measure (scorecard)
  • Incident Management: Resolve single and cross-technology incidents independently; lead team on complex/cross-technology incidents
  • Escalation Management: Identify, manage, lead technical escalations; participate in formal escalations, especially during crises
  • Problem Management: Proactively/reactively seek solutions to prevent problems; perform trend and root cause analysis
  • Change Management/Implementation: Independently prepare, review, implement, rollback, and test plans for change records; perform risk and impact analysis
