Responsibilities

  • Drive global technical operations of Storage & Backups within the Infrastructure Hosting Platform
  • Develop and support the engineering and operations of Storage and Backup Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) capabilities hosted both on-premises and in Public Cloud
  • Work with the Storage Engineering team on strategy for on-premises private cloud and public IaaS Storage Block and Files services
  • Improve storage and backup infrastructure service availability and reliability
  • Implement AI OPS, Event Driven Automation, and robust Observability to prevent outages
  • Accelerate initiatives in Infrastructure AI OPS automation, cloud IaaS management, and cloud infrastructure as code
  • Identify tech opportunities and accelerate the Lilly Technology strategy
