Render is building a powerful and user-friendly cloud platform designed to simplify hosting for developers and teams of all sizes. About the Role

As a Staff Product Manager at Render, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the experience for over 2 million developers who build, deploy, and operate applications on our platform. You will be instrumental in developing features that enable developers, from small teams to large enterprises, to ship and scale their projects without the burden of infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision, strategy, and goals for Render's core platform.
• Gain a deep understanding of current developer software development practices and identify opportunities to build products that accelerate and simplify development workflows.
• Identify and propose integrations with strategic partners to enhance support for development teams.
• Build new services or add functionality to existing platform features to better meet the needs of professional developers using Render.
• Collaborate with Developer Relations, Sales, and Marketing teams to understand customer needs across early-stage teams and enterprises, and disseminate this knowledge within the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a Product Management role.
• Significant experience working on Enterprise or core product teams, or in similar roles at a product-led growth and/or developer tools company.
• Proven experience and confidence in navigating the ambiguous, 0-to-1 phase of new product areas.
• Ability to inspire and champion significant ideas that have a substantial impact on the business and customers.
• A passion for high-quality, well-crafted user experiences and a strong intuition for developer tools.
• A strong, successful track record of managing products with deep technical and business complexity.
• Ability to proactively anticipate challenges and the downstream effects of decisions, and take appropriate action.
• A knack for balancing user insights and data with creativity and intuition to identify novel yet simple solutions to problems.
