The Experiences team, consisting of 40+ designers, focuses on defining and designing best-in-class interactions and product experiences.

What You Will Do at Mercury

  • Lead larger, platform-type problems and projects (6+ months out), visualizing the future while remaining grounded in buildable solutions.
  • Partner with other designers on high-priority, complex projects, ensuring quality and pushing design boundaries.
  • Work alongside product teams and executive leadership to establish a systematic and high-quality development process.
  • Operate across the entire design stack, including speccing, designing workflows, prototypes, visuals, and ensuring implementation quality.
  • Find elegant solutions to customer problems and think critically from the customer's perspective.
  • Mentor other designers, leading by example to improve their skills.
  • Imbue all work with a sense of wonder.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the design industry.
  • Experience leading high-complexity projects with a broad range of stakeholders.
