Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years in a manufacturing or related role, preferably in aerospace or defense
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and test procedures
  • Experience with MRP systems and CAD
  • Strong process documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Fully onsite work at factory in Long Beach, CA

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of the hardware manufacturing processes from concept, through quality and final delivery
  • Define and implement manufacturing plans for complex systems including electrical and propulsion system integration
  • Lead DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews with True Anomaly stakeholders by influencing design decisions for producibility and cost-efficiency
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new manufacturing projects
  • Partner with supply chain, integration and test teams to ensure readiness for successful delivery of components
  • Partner with True Anomaly stakeholders to drive execution across departments
  • Mentor and guide junior manufacturing engineers and technicians in best practices and process disciplines
