Staff Engineer, System Infrastructure at Semtech

The Staff Engineer, System Infrastructure will ensure the highest level of performance and security collaboratively with the infrastructure team through strong leadership and open communication. They will work closely with other IT team members to ensure optimal teamwork and performance, implement processes for maintaining a stable environment, and oversee the research, evaluation, and integration of innovative technologies and approaches. The role also involves establishing, developing, and maintaining relations and communications with vendors to better understand how they can help the company move forward. Additionally, the Staff Engineer will be responsible for on premise and cloud base virtualization services, hardware infrastructure management, network and security remediation, reporting and classification, hardware and platform patching, monitoring and incident response.
