Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Science.
• Experience:
  • 7 - 12 years of experience in the software industry.
  • Minimum of 4 years in security consultancy and security operations.
  • Management, deployment, and maintenance experience with ICT systems.
• Certifications: CISSP or related certifications are advantageous.
• Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of open-source penetration testing tools and hacker tactics.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, code quality metrics, and SSDLC.
  • Ability to dive deep into architectural design and understand business flows.
• Soft Skills:
  • Diligent with strong problem-solving skills and analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to stay up to date on 0-day exploits.
  • Ability to manage high-priority tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, identify, assess, design, operationalize, and manage multiple products’ security postures.
• Recommend and drive cybersecurity solutions and initiatives.
• Work independently in a multi-functional team to understand software architectures and core business workflows.
• Lead team members effectively, providing security, technical mentorship, expertise, and training.
• Respond to security violations, potential vulnerabilities, and alerts from detection systems.
• Communicate effectively with collaborators (both technical and non-technical).
• Conduct security investigations, vulnerability assessments, and remediations.
