Requirements

Candidates should possess a recognised security architecture qualification, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, and have at least 12 months of recent Central Government experience within the last 5 years, alongside a minimum of 5 years of experience in security, risk management, and compliance, particularly in highly regulated industries like UK Government and/or Defence. Furthermore, candidates must hold UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance or be eligible to obtain one, and they must be British citizens or hold dual citizenship, and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Security Architect, you will build effective working relationships with delivery team members and Aker customers, operating independently as a security lead across multiple projects and platforms with extensive latitude for judgment to drive the required outcomes. You will lead client-specific security and assurance of highly complex, cloud-centric data and digital services throughout their entire lifecycle, providing specialist advice on HMG government security architecture and assurance, and public cloud security architectures. Additionally, you will define and lead external security testing, formulate HMG Information Assurance Risk Assessment and Risk Treatment Plans, and establish security requirements for cloud-based solutions by evaluating business strategies and implementing security standards.
