Responsibilities

As a Staff Data Engineer at Kin Insurance, you will serve as the technical lead for your data engineering team, ensuring data quality and integrity while tackling complex challenges. You will design and develop production-ready data pipelines and models for enterprise reporting within a data lakehouse architecture, utilizing tools like S3, Glue, Databricks, and Unity Catalog. You will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize pipeline performance and data quality, migrate data warehouse architecture, implement data validation and QA best practices, mentor data engineers, ensure data security and compliance with regulations, and translate ambiguous business requirements into technical solutions using marketing domain knowledge.
