Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in architecting, developing, and operating cloud solutions on AWS, along with in-depth knowledge of AWS networking services including CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, EC2, ECS, SNS, SQS, and RDS. Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform is required, alongside experience with at least one programming language like Python, Java, or C#, and familiarity with scripting languages like Bash.
As a Staff Cloud Platform Engineer, you will develop, enhance, and operate cloud solutions on AWS with a focus on automation, high performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, participating in the definition of novel cloud solution designs and leading their development. You will work in sprints with cross-functional teams to deliver new features into production, collaborate with other squads to ensure solutions fit into the Sonar platform, and contribute to the investigation of alarms, SLOs, and incidents to maintain a high quality of service. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support and address critical system issues.
