Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience with data and analytics engineering, a passion for education, and a strong foundation in all aspects of analytics engineering. They should be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with engineering, data analysts, data scientists, and other business stakeholders, having previously owned large-scale data projects that drove significant impact across the company. Additionally, they should be comfortable diving deep into product understanding, team roadmaps, technical architecture, and data flow, and enjoy mentoring other data-savvy stakeholders on data best practices.

Responsibilities

The Staff Analytics Engineer will be instrumental in making data accessible and actionable, facilitating informed decision-making throughout the company by partnering and leading across multiple product team functions and domains. They will drive impact through their data vision and architecture, designing and implementing large-scale data warehouses and data marts that enable clear product-focused insights, and ensuring optimal query performance through expert SQL skills and adherence to performance best practices.
