Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years experience with data / analytics engineering
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Proven experience owning large-scale data projects that drove significant impact across the company.
    • Ability to effectively partner with engineering, data analysts, data scientists, and other business stakeholders.
  • Understanding: Ability to dive deep into understanding the product itself, team roadmaps, technical architecture, and data flow from logging to warehouse.
  • Mentorship: Enjoy mentoring other data-savvy stakeholders (Data Science, PM, Eng) on data best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Partner and lead across multiple product team functions and domains, driving impact through data vision and architecture.
  • Design, implement, and monitor large-scale data warehouses and data marts.
  • Create clean fact, dimension, aggregate, and cube tables.
  • Expert in SQL, including window functions, STRUCT/ARRAY manipulation, and query optimization.
  • Promote performance best practices for tables.
  • Share data design ideas in thoughtful design reviews.
