Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant professional software engineering experience, not including internships/co-ops
  • Proficiency in at least one of the modern programming languages: Java, Python, Go
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and other CNCF technologies
  • Proficiency with CI/CD technologies and IaC technologies
  • Proficiency in using observability tools to investigate production issues
  • Extensive experience managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure such as load balancer, API gateway, ingress controller, rate limiter, etc
  • Strong background in working with SaaS software platforms at scale
  • Expertise in cloud governance is strongly preferred
  • B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong technical skills as an engineer and architect with a track record of building and supporting large scale software on public cloud providers such as AWS and Azure

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new CI/CD infrastructure and tools to improve developer workflow and productivity
  • Design and implement services on Kubernetes to support the Highspot workloads
  • Design and implement processes to enhance the cloud infrastructure governance and improve access management of cloud resources
  • Author high-quality runbooks and technical documentation
  • Join the on-call rotation to handle critical production issues
